A more structured take on Chenin Blanc from Stellenbosch. Made from the oldest vines on the farm, this has weight and texture, balanced by a fresh line of acidity and a clear mineral edge.
Fermentation is split across old oak barrels, concrete eggs and stainless steel, followed by time on fine lees. This builds complexity and a gentle richness without losing shape. No additives are used, keeping the wine direct and expressive.
In the glass, expect ripe stone fruit and tropical notes, with hints of papaya and white peach. The palate is broad and velvety, with a mineral thread running through it and a long finish lifted by citrus acidity.
This has the structure to age over the medium term, but it’s already open and giving. A good bottle when you want a white with a bit more presence.
Food Pairing
Works well with Thai dishes, grilled fish or richer seafood such as seabass or hake. Also a good match for lightly spiced food.
