Customers often ask which wines are our favourites. It is a bit like asking which of your children you prefer. We would not list a wine if we did not enjoy drinking it.

What matters more is whether a wine makes sense in the moment. A dish, an occasion, a mood. When those things align, the right bottle feels obvious.

The other thing we look for is that the wine comes from somewhere. A vineyard, a region, a producer with a point of view. Those are usually the bottles that deserve a place in the range.

Inside the case you will find three whites and three reds.

White Wines

• Bottega Vinai Pinot Grigio – Crisp and elegant with apple and pear notes. Very comfortable with seafood, salads, or simple pasta dishes.
• Florensac Soleil Picpoul de Pinet – Bright citrus and green apple flavours with the freshness Picpoul is known for. Particularly good with oysters, shellfish, or goat’s cheese.
• Domaine les Caizergues Bobines Blanc Viognier – Aromatic with ripe stone fruit and a little texture. A good partner for roast chicken, lightly spiced dishes, or creamy cheeses.

Red Wines

• Ontañón Crianza Rioja – Bright cherry and red berry flavours with gentle oak spice. Very good with roast meats, grilled vegetables, or tapas.
• Famille Descombe Syrah – Dark berry fruit with a touch of pepper. A comfortable match for lamb, beef, charcuterie, or hearty stews.
• La Croix du Duc Bordeaux – Classic claret character with dark fruit, cedar, and soft tannins. Versatile with roast beef, game, or hard cheeses.

Taken together, these six bottles give a clear picture of the sort of wines we enjoy drinking and recommending.

Food Pairing
