In 1997 Stéphane Ogier joined the family estate, rooted for seven generations on the hillsides of Ampuis. Taking over from his father Michel he chose to make wines which reveal the various terroirs.
From his early experience in Burgundy Stéphane retains a taste for elegance and finesse, which has become characteristic of his wines. Every year he vinifies each plots separately to highlight their potential.
