An oak-aged Merlot from high-altitude vineyard sites in Trentino, selected for concentration and structure. The cooler alpine setting helps retain freshness, while careful site selection brings depth and ripeness.
The nose is warm and open, with berry fruit, spice and a clear cedarwood note from time in oak. On the palate, ripe plum and cherry sit alongside more savoury, gently spiced elements. There’s a touch of mocha, but it stays balanced by fresh acidity.
The grapes come from some of the better vineyard plots across Trentino, where elevation plays a key role in preserving lift and definition. Maturation in oak adds structure and complexity, giving the wine shape without masking the fruit.
This is a fuller, more structured take on Merlot than most at this level. There’s weight and length here, but it remains composed and drinkable, with a clean line of acidity running through to a long finish.
Food Pairing
Best with roast beef, lamb, or richer pasta dishes. Also works well with hard cheeses or slow-cooked meat.
