From Corbières-Boutenac, one of the Languedoc's finest cru, comes this top class organic wine which shows the beautiful concentration of old vine Carignan with supporting roles played by Mourvedre and Syrah. The blend is Carignan 35%, Mourvèdre 45%, and Syrah 20%.

This bold French wine has aromas and flavours of cherry and black fruits infused with subtle, exotic spices. Notably this is more precise than previous vintages; brighter in character with good tannin and complexity on the finish.

Perfect with hearty dishes, juicy rare steak or sausage cassoulet.

Made on a delightful series of small hills, where the vineyards are surrounded by pine forests and scrublands. Gasparets is a hamlet of a few souls and a haven of peace. In 1711, the Fabre family moved into one of the finest vineyards in the Languedoc, which was recognised as premier cru - Corbières-Boutenac.

Old Carignan Noir vines together with Grenache Noir, Syrah and Mourvèdre are picked by hand from 30 hl/ha plot. Whole bunch vinification in cuve before being assembled to mature together for 12 months in French oak barrels. Long maceration (20 days) for the Syrah and Mourvèdre.

Languedoc-Rousillon, France

The Languedoc is a vast region stretching across much of the south and Mediterranean and is France`s single largest vineyard entity for its Vins de Pays wines.

Within the Languedoc lie several distinctly identified Vins de Pays (including the l`Aude, Gard and Hérault) and many appellations that maintain traditional local blends and styles such as Minervois, Corbières, Pic Saint Loup and Fitou.
