£83.00 Case of 6 (In Bond)

Château Fourcas Dupré is one of the leading estates of Listrac-Médoc, an appellation that remains one of Bordeaux's best-kept secrets. Owned by the Pagès family, the estate has benefited from significant investment in both the vineyard and winery over recent years, helping to raise quality while remaining true to the character of its terroir.

The vineyards sit on gravel and clay soils well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Careful vineyard management and a focus on sustainable viticulture help produce wines that combine the structure expected from the Médoc with freshness, balance and approachability.

The 2025 vintage looks particularly promising for the Left Bank, and Fourcas Dupré appears well placed to take advantage. Listrac often offers some of the strongest value in Bordeaux, delivering classic claret character at prices that remain well below many of the region's more famous appellations.

For those willing to look beyond the household names, Fourcas Dupré offers a compelling combination of family ownership, thoughtful viticulture and proven value. It is exactly the sort of estate that rewards independent selection and demonstrates why some of Bordeaux's most interesting wines are often found away from the spotlight.

Food Pairing

A natural partner for roast lamb, beef, duck and hearty casseroles. Its structure and freshness also make it a good match for grilled meats and mature hard cheeses after a few years in bottle.
