A white blend of Viognier and Vermentino, made in a fresh, southern French style that favours balance over weight. It’s aromatic without being blowsy, and textured without turning heavy.
Viognier brings ripe orchard fruit and a soft, rounded feel. Vermentino adds lift and a saline edge, keeping the wine bright and food-friendly. In the glass you’ll find notes of peach, citrus peel and a light floral touch, with a clean, dry finish that doesn’t overstay its welcome.
This is the sort of bottle that works because it’s well judged. Enough fruit to please, enough freshness to keep it interesting.
Food Pairing
This suits Mediterranean flavours: grilled fish, prawns, herby chicken, or vegetable dishes with olive oil and lemon. It’s also a good match for salads with feta or goat’s cheese, where the wine’s freshness keeps things in balance.

More Information
Languedoc-Rousillon, France
The Languedoc is a vast region stretching across much of the south and Mediterranean and is France`s single largest vineyard entity for its Vins de Pays wines.
Within the Languedoc lie several distinctly identified Vins de Pays (including the l`Aude, Gard and Hérault) and many appellations that maintain traditional local blends and styles such as Minervois, Corbières, Pic Saint Loup and Fitou.
Viognier originated in the Rhône Valley (in Southern France). It is a full bodied variety that loves warm climates. It is often left on the vines for a long time which allows its aromatic profile to develop. Common flavours and aromas include tangerine, apricot, apple, honeysuckle, baking spices, and ginger.
Prior to its renaissance, Viognier was reduced to just a few plantings,
thankfully the variety is once again flourishing in the Southern Rhône
and Languedoc.
In August 2017 two ambitious British wine enthusiasts, Bob and Pat Middleton, bought the vineyard after seeing its potential. They have introduced more modern and environmentally-friendly viticultural and vinicultural practices.
They are always mindful of the importance of heritage and terroir. The estate was formally accredited organic by Ecocert, in 2021.
