This easy drinking Argentinian red wine marries the best of Mendoza’s widely planted cultivars.

Grape varieties such as Bonarda, Cabernet and Tempranillo have long been favored in the Barrancas region and have been well suited to the warm dry climate. Whilst Malbec stole the limelight, lots of these vineyards have become older and now produce excellent fruit.

This red blend has been crafted from carefully selected ripe grapes to make a smooth, full-bodied wine. It is an uncomplicated red wine to drink mid-week which pairs well with almost any supper - its ideal with pizzas and pasta dishes.

Cabernet Sauvignon

One of the world's most widely recognized red wine grape varieties. It is grown in nearly every major wine producing country among a diverse spectrum of climates from Australia and British Columbia, Canada to Lebanon's Beqaa Valley.

The classic profile is full-bodied with high tannins and noticeable acidity that contributes to aging potential.

Argentina

In 1556 fr Juan Cedrón established the first Argentinian vineyards in Mendoza using cuttings from the Chilean Central Valley. Argentina is now the worlds fifth largest wine producer. The many different grapes reflect the country's immigrant groups: the French brought Malbec, the Italians brought Bonarda and Torrontés is typically Argentinian found in the provinces of La Rioja, San Juan, and Salta.
