A structured Cabernet Franc from the Uco Valley, balancing ripe fruit with a fresher, more savoury edge. Leafy notes and pepper sit alongside dark and red fruit, with enough acidity to keep it in shape.

Sourced from vineyards in Tunuyán at around 1,100 metres, this benefits from warm days and cool nights, helping build flavour while retaining freshness. The wine is partly aged for around 12 months in used French oak, adding a subtle layer without dominating the fruit.

In the glass, expect blackcurrant and red berry fruit with herbal notes and a touch of spice. The palate is full-bodied but balanced, with ripe fruit, bright acidity and a light tannic grip on the finish.

This sits in a useful spot. Enough structure for food, but not overly heavy.

Food Pairing

Good with grilled game, steak or roasted vegetables. Also works well with dishes like miso-grilled aubergine.

Argentina

In 1556 fr Juan Cedrón established the first Argentinian vineyards in Mendoza using cuttings from the Chilean Central Valley. Argentina is now the worlds fifth largest wine producer. The many different grapes reflect the country's immigrant groups: the French brought Malbec, the Italians brought Bonarda and Torrontés is typically Argentinian found in the provinces of La Rioja, San Juan, and Salta.

Familia Falasco

Bodegas Los Haroldos is one of Argentina’s leading family-owned wineries. The story began in 1939 when Haroldo Santos Falasco, known as ‘Don Lolo’, wheeled his bicycle through the streets of Chacabuco selling his wines from the basket on the front.

80 years later, Franco Falasco and his siblings are responsible for their family’s legacy: creating wines of excellence and quality for the world to enjoy.
