The Signature Collection are named after Peter's grandchildren - each wine has style and finesse, created for those who appreciate wine with personality.

The wine has rich dark purple hues with exquisite aromas of raspberry, cassis and cedar wood. The palate has notes of red fruits with dense, smooth tannins and a beautiful lingering finish.

Pair this with fattier steaks like ribeye and sirloin, or try it with barbeque beef ribs.

Only the very finest grapes went into the wine - bunches were handpicked in the vineyard, leaving all the sunburnt berries on the vine. Once de-stemmed, a second hand sorting selection was made. The wine was lightly pressed and matured for 18 months in French oak barrels. Twenty percent went into 1st fill oak and the rest into 2nd and 3rd fill.

South Africa

South African wine has a history dating back to 1659 with the first bottle being produced in Cape Town by its founder and governor Jan van Riebeeck.

Cabernet Sauvignon

One of the world's most widely recognized red wine grape varieties. It is grown in nearly every major wine producing country among a diverse spectrum of climates from Australia and British Columbia, Canada to Lebanon's Beqaa Valley.

The classic profile is full-bodied with high tannins and noticeable acidity that contributes to aging potential.

Werner makes wines for Peter Falke and his french wife Danièle in their beautiful winery in Stellenbosch. Groenvlei Farm is home to rambling magenta bougainvillea, delicate scented roses and wild lavender growing alongside carefully cultivated vineyards. Dating back to the 18th century, the traditional gabled Cape Dutch buildings belie a contrasting modernity within.
