For four generations the Gourjon family have farmed the terraces of the Rhône. Their wines are a delicate, yet powerful expression of a centuries-old vineyard. Caroline and Christian Gourjon are the current custodians and third generation of the family to work these vineyards which are now certified organic and biodynamic.
Set at the crossroads of the Costières de Nîmes and Côtes du Rhône appellations, Château Font Barrièle is a jewel in the heart of history. Forming part of the Natura 2000 reserve, their emblem is the little bustard, a bird which nests on the ground finding shelter in the domaine’s vines. This area hosts the largest population of this protected species in Europe!
