Bordeaux is a famous wine region in southwestern France which produces some of the world's finest wines. The region is home to over 10,000 wine estates and more than 60 appellations, each with its own unique terroir and wine styles.

Bordeaux wines are typically known for their complexity, depth, and ability to age.

Sauvignon Blanc is found all over the world, although it probably orignates from south west France, hence the name which comes from sauvage "wild" and blanc "white".

In cool climates it produces wines with flavours of grass, green peppers and nettles with some tropical fruit and floral notes. In warmer climates more tropical fruit notes such as peach are noticeable.
