"Le Cheval Marin" - translates as The Sea Horse - it is winemaker Elizabeth Prataviera's signature blend from the best, selected parcels of the Haut-Marin estate. This white wine includes 60% Colombard, 20% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Gros Manseng.
Layers of acacia flowers, ripe peach, grapefruit and pineapple with a mineral aspect. Lovely and round, the Gros Manseng adding body and weight, it is complex with an elegant finish.
Pair this with grilled goats cheese salad, pan-fried salmon or courgette and lemon zest risotto. The aromatic aspect of the wine mean it could even stand up to some subtle asian spiced grilled chicken.

Perfect for quaffing in the garden. Freshness from the Sauvignon Blanc with depth added by the Gros Manseng. A really refreshing and enjoyable blend.

This blend of Colombard, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gros Manseng was recommended by Dan at Wickhams and is a delight! Dry, light, with a delicate but clean palate: this really is the perfect wine to enjoy through the summer - and beyond.
