This French red wine is made from 100% Marselan, a grape created by crossing Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon, which provides an insight to what you should expect. The wine is an intense ruby red in colour with notes of fresh black fruits on the nose. It is soft and ripe on the palate and bursting full of blackberry and cherry flavours with an undertone of liquorice.

Silky tannins support this soft wine which finishes long and fruity.

The domaine has been owned by the Biscaye family for five generations. The estate is currently undergoing conversion to organic and will be certified from the 2022 vintage onwards.

Serve with hot grilled meats, cold meats, soft pate and hard cheese.

Languedoc-Rousillon, France

The Languedoc is a vast region stretching across much of the south and Mediterranean and is France`s single largest vineyard entity for its Vins de Pays wines.

Within the Languedoc lie several distinctly identified Vins de Pays (including the l`Aude, Gard and Hérault) and many appellations that maintain traditional local blends and styles such as Minervois, Corbières, Pic Saint Loup and Fitou.
