Isabelle and Noë Rouballay are the 5th generation of family winemakers. Established in 1885, the 30 hectares of vines are located on the renowened terroir of the town of Oisly, which possesses the ideal conditions for growing Sauvignon Blanc.

Passionate about the environment and certified sustainable, Isabelle and Noë work according to Terra Vitis specifications (since 2001) and the HVE (High Environmental Value) level 3 certification obtained in 2020.

This is an award winning white wine, awarded LIGER d`ARGENT at the 2020 Loire Valley Wine Competition and gold medals at both the Concours Mondial du Sauvignon 2019 and the Concours des Vignerons Indépendants 2019.

In the glass it has a birlliant pale golden colour. On the nose it is expressive, combining citrus scents with notes of white flowers and mineral nuances.

The palate has great depth of flavour with notes of greengage, white peach, gooseberry and flint, underpinned with a crisp acidity.

The perfect accompaniment for English asparagus or fresh west-country shellfish.

The 600-mile stretch of the Loire River valley and its tributaries make up one of France's top wine regions. The wines include famous names such as Muscadet, Pouilly-Fumé, Vouvray, and Sancerre.

Best known for white wines, the most popular grape varieties are Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, and Melon de Bourgogne. Red wines are made with Cabernet Franc and Gamay. Some of the best examples come from Saumur Champigny.

Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is found all over the world, although it probably orignates from south west France, hence the name which comes from sauvage "wild" and blanc "white".

In cool climates it produces wines with flavours of grass, green peppers and nettles with some tropical fruit and floral notes. In warmer climates more tropical fruit notes such as peach are noticeable.

A very nice, fresh and crisp tasting Sauvignon Blanc, with herbeacous notes typical of the Loire Valley.
