Heiderer-Mayer's Grüner Veltliner is made from a selection of the best grapes from their vineyards in the Wagram region of Nierderosterreich (Austria).

It should be drunk fresh and young. The wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks resulting in a pure expression of this indgenous grape variety. Notes of green apple, conference pear and pineapple combine with the classic pepperiness of Grüner Veltliner, all underpinned by a fresh and zesty acidity.

This is a versatile wine which can be a great match to many dishes, from classic wiener schnitzel to vietnamese summer rolls and noodle salads.

The Kamptal wine growing region traces back its origins of cultivating plants thousands of years with vines having been planted for hundreds of years.

Grüner Veltliner

Grüner Veltliner is a white wine grape grown primarily in Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.

Grüner, for short, delivers all quality levels - from light, acidity-toned wines to the highly ripe wines. The site and the yield are crucial to the quality. Spicy, peppery versions are preferred; so are versions showing stone fruit notes.
