For claret lovers look no further than this Luxury Claret Gift Set. Containing Château Bechereau, Lalande de Pomerol 2017 (75cl, ABV 14%) and Château Gachon, Montagne-Saint-Émilion, 2016 (75cl, ABV 13%) in a luxury clasped, silk-lined, wooden presentation case. 

Château Bechereau, Lalande de Pomerol 2019

A classic full-bodied red, Lalande de Pomerol is a blend of the Merlot and Cabernet Franc grape varieties.  Family owned Chateau Béchereau ferment half of the wine in stainless steel before ageing in oak barrels with the other half fermented in oak.  The result, a classic claret with a good balance of black fruits, toasty notes and sweet spice.

Château Gachon, Montagne-Saint-Émilion, 2016

A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, Château Gachon’s Montagne-Saint-Émilion is a classic French red with a deep ruby colour and soft nose of cherry, cassis and spice from oak aging.  Well-balanced on the palate with a solid tannic structure it has a complementary soft mid-palate of ripe fruits including plums and red berries.
