Volcanic soils and a maritime influence combine to impart a distinct elegance and mineral character upon the wines of Sicily. The wines are mostly made from idigenous varieties which have adapted perfectly to the conditions.

This Sicilian Etna Bianco white wine is made from a blend of Carricante (60%) and Catarratto (40%). The grapes are grown on Mount Etna where the lava soils add a distinctive mineral note which gives a real sense of place to the wine. A bright gold in colour with notes of apple, white peach, pear and star anise. Very fresh on the finish from a crisp, citrus acidity and a smoky mineral note.

Excellent partner to sundried tomatoes mozzarella, stuffed peppers or stuffed vine leaves.

Elisa Trovato, Sentieri Siciliani

Elisa Trovato farms three hectares of vineyards in Trecastagni on the south side of Mount Etna. It is a sunny and high slope at 650 meters
above sea level. The vineyards are full of richness and passion, which is translated to the vines. Starting with 15-year-old espaliers and 35-50-year-old saplings, Elisa fell in love and made them her own.
