The Spanish Wine Case brings together six bottles from across Spain, with three whites and three reds chosen to show just how varied the country's wines can be. There is fresh Verdejo from Rueda, aromatic Macabeo from Utiel-Requena, classic Rioja, ripe Monastrell from Jumilla, and plenty in between.
These are approachable, characterful wines made for drinking rather than studying. The whites move from light and citrusy to fuller and more aromatic, while the reds cover juicy Garnacha, fruit-led Tempranillo, and rich, spicy Monastrell.
