Melon de Bourgogne

Melon de Bourgogne is a variety of white grape grown primarily in the Loire Valley region of France. It is best known as the only permitted variety in Muscadet.

The grape provides a great wine with apple and citrus notes with hints of minerality on the finish. Generally made as a still dry style, though sometimes used in the production of Crémant.
