Rioja
Rioja is a winemaking region in northern Spain. The wines are made primarily from Tempranillo grapes, but other varieties such as Garnacha and Graciano may also be used.
Rioja wine can be classified into four categories based on its aging: Joven, Crianza, Reserva, and Gran Reserva. Joven is the youngest and freshest, while Gran Reserva is the most aged and complex.
