Château Malescot Saint-Exupéry 2025 is a rich and expressive Margaux with the estate’s usual combination of perfume, texture and depth. The vintage was shaped by warm, dry conditions and a late September harvest, producing concentrated fruit balanced by freshness and fine tannin structure.
The blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot and Petit Verdot in support. Across early reports, the 2025 shows dark berry fruit, floral notes, graphite and spice, with a supple texture that stays firmly within the more elegant side of Margaux rather than drifting into heaviness.
Malescot Saint-Exupéry is a Third Growth estate in the 1855 Classification, owned and run by the Zuger family since 1955. The vineyard sits on classic Margaux gravel soils overlooking the Gironde estuary, helping produce wines with both aromatic lift and structure for ageing.
The 2025 has plenty of concentration, but what stands out is the balance between ripe fruit, freshness and polished tannins. There is generosity here, though the finish remains composed and distinctly Margaux in character.
