This is a zesty, light-bodied Spanish white wine - with an eye-catching label and name inspired by the 'paper dolls' of the Las Fallas de Valencia festival, when puppets, often made of papier maché, are paraded around the town.
The wine is produced by Bodegas Murviedro, one of the most important wineries in the region around Valencia. Founded in 1927, it has access to a wide range of both indigenous and international grape varieties. The company's philosophy is based on combining modern winemaking techniques with grapes from traditional vineyards - to meet the highest international quality standards, while maintaining their Spanish character and originality.
This easy drinking white wine is produced predominantly from Viura grapes (70%), blended with Sauvignon Blanc (30%).This has produced a lightly floral wine with citrus aromas.
On the palate this Spanish white is gently fruity with citrus and green apple characters, and fresh acidity on the finish.
It's no surprise to know that it makes the perfect accompaniment to paella!
