This Garganega Pinot Grigio is selected from high quality vineyards in the area between Lake Garda and Vicenza. The addition of Garganega makes a more interesting, characterful wine than many basic Pinot Grigio wines. It is made from a blend of Garganega 85% and Pinot Grigio 15%.

Winemaker Claudio Manera has created a white wine which is lightly aromatic with ripe stone fruit and citrus characters.

It is immediately zesty and easy to drink. A dry white wine with considerable texture and soft, lightly honeyed fruit on the finish.

Ideal as an aperitif or with seafood.

Pinot Grigio / Pinot Gris

In Alsace it is known as Pinot Gris, in Italy it is Pinot Grigio.

It is one of the darkest-skinned grapes producing white wine and grapes can vary from grey-blue to brownish pink. This can produce wines with an incredibly deep colour. In Italy it makes simple table wines, whereas in Alsace it is one of the four noble varieites and is often used to make spiced and perfumed styles.
