Wickhams are very excited to be the headline sponsor for Toby's Garden Festival. It takes place on the first Spring Bank Holiday weekend at Powderham Castle, near Exeter.

About Toby's Garden Festival

Now in its tenth year, Toby's Garden Festival festival brings a heady mix of gorgeous plants for sale, fabulous local street food and a free two-day programme of garden workshops, food & drink talks and now wine to the region’s gardeners.

The location as ever is Powderham Castle, an impressive 14th century castle still independently owned by the Earl and Countess of Devon and their family. The festival takes over the site for two days, colouring the Castle Driveway, lakeside, historic Courtyard and stunning interior.

Will There be Wine?

For the first time Wickhams are adding wine to the festival. We will be showcasing our award winning range of English wines from Devon and beyond, plus some of our exclusive wines from the rest of the world.

In the beautiful surroundings of the castle dining room we're offering the chance to taste a wide selection of wines, meet the winemakers and ask any questions.

You'll be able to buy wines on the day too. A full list of the producers on show is at the end of this post.

And Masterclasses?

Another exciting new addition to the festival this year is the Food Drink Devon Market Square. Set in the historic castle courtyard the market will be packed with local artisan producers.

A marquee in the market square has a full programme of food and drink talks hosted by Sunday Telegraph wine writer Susy Atkins and River Cottage's Mark Diacono.

On both days Wickhams wine expert Pip Vanham will be pairing local food from the market with a selection of wines in a food and wine masterclass; Lucy Hulland from Huxbear Vineyard will be giving a talk about the vineyard year; and Wickhams founder Dan Farrell-Wright will join Susy to talk about English fizz.

I Want Tickets!

Tickets start from £13.50 and are available from the Toby's Garden Festival website.
