£272.40 Case of 6

Château de Fieuzal Blanc 2025 is a refined and textured white Pessac-Léognan made from 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Sémillon. Harvest took place between 19 and 27 August, preserving freshness and aromatic precision.

The nose opens with delicate floral notes alongside citrus and subtle stone fruit character. On the palate, the wine is broad but controlled, combining ripe fruit with a saline edge and a lightly chalky texture that gives length and definition.

Owned by the Quinn family, Fieuzal is farmed with a strong environmental focus and holds HVE 3, ISO 14001 and Bee Friendly certifications, recognising work around biodiversity and sustainable vineyard management.

Winemaker Stephen Carrier describes the 2025 as a clear expression of the estate’s terroir, balancing richness with freshness and mineral tension.

Drinking Window

Likely to drink well from release, with the structure and freshness to develop over the following 10 to 15 years.

Food Pairing

Works well with grilled fish, scallops, roast chicken, creamy sauces and hard cheeses.

Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is found all over the world, although it probably orignates from south west France, hence the name which comes from sauvage "wild" and blanc "white".

In cool climates it produces wines with flavours of grass, green peppers and nettles with some tropical fruit and floral notes. In warmer climates more tropical fruit notes such as peach are noticeable.

Brenda & Lochlann Quinn, Château de Fieuzal

Fieuzal’s history goes back over 400 years, when it was harvested by a handful of modest wine growers. It was named ‘Fieuzal’ in 1864, after ‘Lovely Fieuzal’, the last descendent of the Fieuzal family.

The legendary 1893 vintage sat on the table of Pope Léon XIII in the Vatican and its red became Grand Cru Classé in 1959 - now recognised as one of the finest Grand Crus of Bordeaux.
