The estate is managed by three members of the same family: Didier, Alain and Michaël Bataillard. The vineyard is located in the town of La-Chapelle-de-Guinchay. They work the four northernmost crus of the appellation: Saint-Amour, Moulin à Vent, Chénas and Juliénas. The vineyards have been certified High Environmental Value (HVE) since 2018. Their work is above all based on the preservation and development of biodiversity on the land, with respect for nature.
All their red wines are made using Gamay grapes. They express the typicality of their terroir . They also reveal a part of their own character and history, based on family teamwork, but also on respect for the vine and the love of good wine. It is the same for the vinification , always traditional and semi-carbonic, with a perfect control of the temperatures (hot and cold).
