Sepp Moser Estate was founded by the Austrian wine pioneer, Lenz Moser. Lenz Moser's son, Sepp, began operating under his own name in 1987, and handed over to his son Nikolaus in 2000.
The estate covers 50 acres in Kremstal and Neusiedlersee. In Kremstal, Nikolaus produces an international range of grapes, plus Gruner Veltliner and Riesling. The reds are produced on gravelly soils in the Neusiederslee village of Apetlon. All the wines have been organic (and all estate wines biodynamic) since 2007.
