A blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon made by the fourth generation of the Biotteau family, who have been farming their vineyards near Angers since 1938.

Beautiful, intense red color. The nose is complex, composed of red fruits such as cherries and strawberries as well as smoky aromas. The palate is supple and well-rounded, with a long and persistent finish and silky tannic structure. Aromas of ripe red fruits, think blackcurrant, cherries, and blackberries. There is also an alluring note of tomoto leaf.

Anjou Villages Brissac pairs well with grilled meats and game. Try decanting this before servicng to allow the wine to reveal its full potential.
