Produced using the classical method Henners Brut NV is a blend of the three traditional sparkling grape varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.

Multi-Award Winning English Sparkling Wine

The grapes for Henners Brut NV are grown on Henners own clay soil and a neighbouring grower’s chalk soil. These two parcels of grapes complement each other in terms of generosity and finesse.

The components are blended each year with small proportions of reserve wine to bring additional depth and structure. The wine is aged on its lees for 3 years, producing an elegant, refined English sparkling wine with great balance and a delicious citrus and orchard fruit backbone.

Sourdough aromas combine with crunchy green apple fruit to provide a wonderfully welcoming nose. The palate is fine with a lively and persistent mousse. Green apple and pear fruit characters mix with a toasted brioche leesy flavour helping to provide a complex and moreish palate.

Balanced acidity and a long finish make this a very classy sparkling wine which makes the perfect aperitif or celebration wine.

Sussex, England

Sussex has a warm climate and soil types similar to Champagne. Champagne lies on the 49th parallel north while the Sussex Weald lies on the 51st parallel north. Sussex has many south-facing slopes, which are suitable for growing the grape varieties found in sparkling wine, such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.
