An impressive and well-rounded Chardonnay from Argentina. Made by fourth generation at Familia Falasco: Franco, Florencia, Fausto & Francesco Falasco.

"we’ve created wines that prioritise elegance, fruit and the expression of different terroir."

Hermandad Chardonnay 2018

This Argentinian white Chardonnay spent 12 months in French oak to give the wine some complexity. The oak is noticeable but very well integrated.

The nose shows intense citrus, pineapple and green apple aromas, interwoven with vanilla notes from the oak and some mineral characters; the elegant palate is well balanced by natural acidity, with concentrated white orchard fruits, toasted bread and light notes of vanilla leading to a long and refined finish.

It makes the perfect partner to fresh seafood, or a simple cheese board.

Argentina

In 1556 fr Juan Cedrón established the first Argentinian vineyards in Mendoza using cuttings from the Chilean Central Valley. Argentina is now the worlds fifth largest wine producer. The many different grapes reflect the country's immigrant groups: the French brought Malbec, the Italians brought Bonarda and Torrontés is typically Argentinian found in the provinces of La Rioja, San Juan, and Salta.

Chardonnay

One of the world’s most popular grapes, Chardonnay is made in a wide range of styles from lean, sparkling Blanc de Blancs to rich, creamy white wines aged in oak.

Depending on how ripe the grapes get, the flavour ranges from crisp, clean citrus and green apple, to ripe peaches and tropical fruit. Notable Chardonnays can be found in France, California, Australia, England, and beyond.

Familia Falasco

Bodegas Los Haroldos is one of Argentina’s leading family-owned wineries. The story began in 1939 when Haroldo Santos Falasco, known as ‘Don Lolo’, wheeled his bicycle through the streets of Chacabuco selling his wines from the basket on the front.

80 years later, Franco Falasco and his siblings are responsible for their family’s legacy: creating wines of excellence and quality for the world to enjoy.
