This lively Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp and fresh white wine with exquisite aromas of tropical fruit, guava and gooseberry. There are delicate hints of guava skin, passion fruit and green apple on the palate with intense grapefruit flavours and a great minerality and flintiness on the finish.

Part of the lively PF range which focuses on sociable charm - making these wines perfect for any occasion.

Only grapes of exceptional quality make it to the cellar, leaving all rotten and sun-burnt berries on the vines. Another manual selection process ensures that only the best grapes pass through the de-stemmer and crushing press. In the press, the pulp was left for 6 hours skin contact which optimises the flavour extraction. Once settled, the clean juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks with "Vin 7" yeast. Following fermentation and while the wine still appered cloudy, the wine was extracted from the gross lees. A further 2-3 months contact on the fine lees has enhanced the complexity of the finshed product. In advance of bottling the wine was protein and cold stabilised.

Serve with cucumber and dill salad or with fresh bread and goat's cheese.

Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is found all over the world, although it probably orignates from south west France, hence the name which comes from sauvage "wild" and blanc "white".

In cool climates it produces wines with flavours of grass, green peppers and nettles with some tropical fruit and floral notes. In warmer climates more tropical fruit notes such as peach are noticeable.
