A perfect English rosé for a summers afternoon. Currently celebrating 40 years of winemaking from their base in Totnes, Devon, head winemaker Duncan Schwab and his team have perfected the art of English winemaking.

This is a dry and fruity rosé with aromas of red fruits, there's sour raspbery, wild strawberry and cherry. This all continues to the palette, making this a wonderful wine to drink by itself or to pair with food.

A versatile wine perfect with summer platters, goats cheese salads and grilled white meat.

More Information

Pinot Noir

When made well, Pinot Noir shines. When young it has delicious aromas of cherries, raspberries, and strawberries.

As the wine ages, it will develop complexity and mystery. It has the capacity to become a gamey style of wine. It will show notes of autumn, truffles and mushrooms, especially when originating from the top vineyards of Burgundy.

Duncan Schwab, Sandridge Barton

Duncan Schwab has been making Sharpham wine for over 25 years. He became CEO when they moved to their new home at Sandridge Barton, Stoke Gabriel in 2022.

With over 40 years of history, Sharpham wines are the result of a happy marriage of soil, climate and grape variety. Ducan uses new world and traditional techniques to develop a unique regional character.

Devon, England

Devon's vineyards are situatued in the valleys and lowlands of south and east Devon. Mostly close to the rivers Exe, Teign and Dart.

The growing season is long, with sun and heat starting earlier and lasting longer than in many other English counties. This gives the grapes more time to ripen and more time to hang.
