Domaine Chatelain is one of the great domaines of the Loire Valley. Pouilly-Fumé is renowned for its crisp, fresh, and mineral wines with a slight hint of smoke (hence fumé in the name). Harmonie from Jean-Claude and Vincent Chatelain has everything you expect from the appellation.

The grapes come from vines planted on flinty and chalky soils, which add a steely mineral character and silky texture to the wine. It is fresh and vibrant, with crunchy green fruit, lively citrus and balancing acidity.

The nose is expressive, with aromas of passion fruit, citrus and melon. The palate shows great poise with notes of grapefruit and minerality.

Pair this with a goats cheese salad, Crottin de Chavignol would be perfect.

Sauvignon Blanc

Sauvignon Blanc is found all over the world, although it probably orignates from south west France, hence the name which comes from sauvage "wild" and blanc "white".

In cool climates it produces wines with flavours of grass, green peppers and nettles with some tropical fruit and floral notes. In warmer climates more tropical fruit notes such as peach are noticeable.
