Château Bechereau, Lalande de Pomerol

A classic full-bodied red, Lalande de Pomerol is a blend of the Merlot and Cabernet Franc grape varieties.  Family owned Chateau Béchereau ferment half of the wine in stainless steel before ageing in oak barrels with the other half fermented in oak.  The result, a classic claret with a good balance of black fruits, toasty notes and sweet spice.

A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from Vignobles Ducourt is aged for 12 months prior to bottling.
