Just arrived! For older vines and experienced winemakers, the 2022 harvest in Marlborough was great. Timing had to be spot on as a series of unseasonable downpours had to be dodged.

James Leary has bags of experience and that's why Snapper Rock received a 5* Wine Orbit review and Matthew Jukes described it as: "the best-value Kiwi Sauvignon I’ve had so far this year, with clean, bright lemon and lime lines and a frisky, crisp finish."

It's fresh and gorgeously aromatic with kiwifruit and lemon zest aromas. It's powerfully expressed on the palate delivering juicy fruit intensity backed by vibrant acidity. Upfront and delectably appealing, making it highly enjoyable.

Pair this with seafood, fish, herb-based dishes and chicken in cream sauce.

Sauvignon Blanc is found all over the world, although it probably orignates from south west France, hence the name which comes from sauvage "wild" and blanc "white".

In cool climates it produces wines with flavours of grass, green peppers and nettles with some tropical fruit and floral notes. In warmer climates more tropical fruit notes such as peach are noticeable.
