This is a rich and powerful wine from the village of Meursault in Burgundy. Common with most other white wine from Mersault this is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes.
Fleshy stone fruit aromas combine with notes of melted butter and toast imparted from 10 months ageing in French oak barrels. There is a fresh acidity complimented by a flinty mineral character from the limestone soils. This balances the rich character and creamy texture, with a long and complex finish.
Wonderful served with rich dishes such as chicken in a cream sauce or lobster.
